September 21, this year, a group of 80 employees of Press Glass and their families representing together the “Sport and Support” campaign took part in the Bike Tour in Tczew for the third time as a part of the “Active Mobility Week”. A large turnout at the start has brought the amount of PLN 2,000, which was donated to the treatment of two children.
From year to year, the campaign is becoming more and more popular among employees and their family members. The “Sport and Support” team represented a significant part of all participants of the Tour. Among the 80-member team, there were 26 PRESS GLASS employees and as many as 56 people from their families. People from a wide range of 3 to 60 years of age represented the campaign in this event.
The organizers of the campaign decided to set special conditions for the group bike tour. The final amount of money donated for charity also includes kilometers traveled by family members of employees of the company, who also represented the “Sport and Support” campaign in the above bike tour. The combination of the bike tour and the charity action resulted in the donation of PLN 2,000 to Karol Wojtaszek and Wiktoria Rebell.
“The bike tour in Tczew is not only an opportunity to integrate Press Glass employees and their families. For us, it is also a challenge to gather as many people representing the “Sport and Support” campaign as possible on the starting line. Why is it so important? The more of us participates in the bike tour, the more money goes to the treatment of the sick. I am glad that our “Sport and Support” campaign brings generations together with sports and charity,” says Miłka Furmanek, one of the coordinators of the campaign.
