The Board of Directors of Press – Glas S.A. informs that on 11 December 2007 the Board of Directors of Special Economic Zone of £ód¼ granted the Company a permit to perform business activity within the Special Economic Zone of £ód¼, the Radomsko Subzone. The purchase of a plot for business activity, with the surface area of 6.1879 hectares, located in Radomsko within the range of Special Economic Zone in £ód¼, completed on 13 December of the current year, initiates the realisation of investment project for building of a modern plant for production of insulated glass and processing of flat glass. In the production rooms with the total surface area of 30 000 m2 , the state of the art machines and devices for insulated glass production, manufactured by renowned European manufactures, will be installed. The total value of the investment is estimated at the level of 80 million. z³.. The final employment will be at the level of 400 people, which will allow reaching the maximum production capacity. The investment will be realised in two stages.
The 1st stage of the investment with the expenditures of 40 million z³. will be completed in October 2008 and in the production room with the total surface area of 12 000 m2 the manufacturing of insulated glass shall begin. At this stage of investment development, the Company will employ 150 employees from Radomsko and the surrounding area.
In 2010 the second stage of the investment will be accomplished. It will involve the enlargement of the production rooms and fitting the plant with additional technological lines. After the final completion of the investment project, the Press – Glass Plant in Radomsko shall be the most modern and the largest insulated glass production plant in Europe.
