New IGCC/IGMA certificate for American market

PRESS GLASS d.o.o. has been recently granted the certificate issued by North American certification body IGCC/IGMA, which confirms high quality and performance of our glass. The certificate confirms that insulated glass units manufactured by PRESS GLASS d.o.o. meet the requirements of American standards, including ASTM E2190. European partners of PRESS GLASS d.o.o. are now able to export their products to American market with less hassle and their competitiveness shall be strengthened.

The Insulating Glass Certification Council (IGCC) was founded in 1977 in response to the growing demand from insulating glass unit manufacturers, consumers and others who were concerned with upgrading the quality and performance of IG products purchased for use in commercial and residential construction nationwide. IGCC is a nonprofit corporation whose purpose is to promote the public interest as well as participants business interests by encouraging maintenance of the highest standards of excellence in the manufacture of insulating glass.

The Insulating Glass Manufacturers Alliance (IGMA) is a North American association of insulating glass manufacturers, suppliers of component materials and other industry related professionals dedicated to upgrading product / service performance by promoting awareness of technological developments in the industry. IGMA provides the leadership required to assure the continued growth of the Insulating Glass Industry.

The Certification Program is directed by its participants and Certification Committee and is managed by an impartial administrator and the IGCC Board of Governors. The requirements to meet certification standards, initiated and agreed upon by the membership through the Board of Governors, are validated through periodic inspections by the administrator and testing by independent laboratories approved by IGCC.
