Run and support – start of a new season
The next edition of the Czestochowa Run will be the first start this year within our action “Run and support”. The run of 10 km will be held on 9 April in Czestochowa (Poland). The funds that will be “run” by the PRESS GLASS team will be transferred to charity purposes.
“The underlying idea of our action, commenced last year with our participation in the Czestochowa Run, is to propagate physical activity and starts in runs which we combine with charity activity. Last year the PRESS GLASS representation was composed of over 70 persons. We hope that this year we will have as numerous team,” says a co-organiser of the action, Gerard Plaze.
The rules of charity support will be similar to last year’s. This means that for each person of the team who will complete the 8th Czestochowa Run we will assign a certain amount for a charity purpose. The total amount will be additionally increased by the equivalent of participation fee (paid individually by the participants) and the results of each runner. The bonus will be applied to finishing times that are better than the maximum time of the run set by the organisers.
In 2015 the PRESS GLASS team participated in four runs. Apart from the run in Czestochowa, there are starts in Radomsko, Tychy and Tczew – the three towns where our production facilities are located.
