181 Talgarth Road, London, UK
The range of glazing installation works at 181 Talgarth Road included a 17-storey residential building for students. Two main systems were used in the building: a unitised system from the first floor to the roof, and a mullion-transom façade system on the ground floor and mezzanine level. The main type of glass used was COOL-LITE SKN 183II solar control glass, which reduces overheating of rooms, while the toughened version increases the safety of users.
Main configurations of the insulated glass units:
- Cool Lite SKN 183 II 8mm TVG (6a) /16mm Chromatech Ultra + 90% argon/ Float 4mm TVG (6a)/PVB 0,76mm/Float 4mm TVG (6a)
