Press Glass is proud to contribute to One Victoria – a landmark transformation of a historic site into a future ready commercial space. For this project, Press Glass will manufacture over 3,500 m² of insulated glass units.
The façade glazing integrates advanced low carbon solutions, including Guardian NEXA™ 6 and the Saflex™ LiteCarbon™ Clear PVB interlayer by Eastman, all incorporated into a low carbon aluminium system by Schüco.
Notably, One Victoria Street is the first commercial project to utilise Saflex™ LiteCarbon™ Clear PVB interlayer, enabling up to 37% lower embodied carbon compared to standard alternatives. The use of Guardian NEXA™ low carbon glass plays a fundamental role in reducing embodied carbon, making a significant contribution to the overall carbon performance of the façade.
The project highlights Press Glass’ experience in manufacturing insulated glass units incorporating lower-carbon materials for major commercial developments. It also demonstrates what can be achieved when material innovation and processing expertise are aligned across the value chain.
